Paint damage almost always happens during the wash process, not on the road. Swirl marks, fine scratches and wash marring are caused by moving dirt across the paint surface during the contact wash. The right products and the right technique eliminate most of this risk entirely.
The three principles of safe paintwork care:
Remove contamination before you touch the paint.

Use pH neutral products throughout.
Alkaline or acidic products strip waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings from the paint surface. Every Gloss Fuel paintwork product is pH neutral, meaning your existing protection stays intact wash after wash.

How do I wash my car without causing swirl marks?

This combination removes the majority of swirl risk from the contact wash stage.
How often should I apply quick detailer to my paintwork?
After every wash is ideal - it takes two to three minutes and maintains the gloss and hydrophobic protection on your paint between wax or sealant applications. Are Gloss Fuel paintwork products safe on wrapped cars?
Yes. All Gloss Fuel paintwork products are pH neutral and safe on vinyl wraps, PPF and all paint finishes. Avoid any products containing petroleum distillates or strong solvents on wrapped vehicles - none of our products contain these.
Do I need a separate drying aid if I already use a quick detailer?
They serve different purposes. The drying aid is applied before towel drying - it sheets water off the surface and makes the drying process faster and safer. The quick detailer is applied after drying - it adds a final layer of gloss and protection. Used together they form what we call a triple gloss finish: shampoo, drying aid, quick detailer. Three products, one system.
